How to Create a Business Email with Your Domain in Tanzania

Professional email with your own domain (e.g., info@yourcompany.co.tz) builds trust and credibility. This guide shows you how to set it up in Tanzania.

Why You Need Business Email

Using Gmail or Yahoo for business looks unprofessional. Compare:

Unprofessional: yourcompany.tz@gmail.com

Professional: info@yourcompany.co.tz

Customers, partners, and suppliers expect business email from your domain. It’s a credibility signal.

What You Need

• A domain name (e.g., yourcompany.co.tz)
• A business email hosting plan
• 30 minutes of setup time

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Register your domain: If you don’t have one, register at a Tanzanian registrar
2. Choose email hosting: Pick a plan with enough mailboxes for your team
3. Pay with M-Pesa: Annual or monthly billing available
4. Access webmail: Get a URL like webmail.yourcompany.co.tz
5. Create mailboxes: info@, sales@, support@, etc.
6. Configure your email client: Set up on phone (iOS/Android) and desktop (Outlook, Apple Mail)
7. Test sending and receiving: Verify everything works
